1. Think about seating arrangements. When arranging the tables and seating for your marquee; think about the events that will be taking place during the reception. If there are going to be speeches then you need to make sure that everyone can see the head table clearly. You also don’t want to cram tables in too close together as people will need to move around freely.

2. Make sure there is a suitable temperature inside the marquee. If the weather takes a turn for the worse then you don’t want all your guests to be sat freezing! Many reputable companies offer temporary heating systems for marquees, and their trained specialists should be able to advise where is best to position the temporary boiler so that it cannot be seen, but will give the best output of heat. You can then vary the temperature if it gets too hot – it is better to be able to turn down the heat when it gets too hot than have no heating when it gets too cold! These temporary heating systems are available for hire as long as you need and you can find local companies easily on the internet.

3. Think about flooring. As marquees are outside; you cannot guarantee that he ground underneath will be completely smooth and easy to walk on so you will need to think about what type of flooring you want. The majority of your female guests will likely be wearing heels so you will need to ensure that the flooring is suitable. Speak to your marquee hire company and they will be able to advise you on the options available.

Mandap Hire costs can vary depending on many factors, usually the add ons people want increase the costs to the Mandap Hire company. Fresh flowers are a major cost and are not cheap as well as extra cloths such as Star Cloths.
